Default 500hp, more power

What can i add to my 500hps (already bumped to 550 with new guts) to boost them up, whipples, blowers, etc.

Whats an easy way to add HP without dropping 15k

We can get you an additional 80 from porting your heads and with a cam change added over 100+hp total, give us a call.

Thanks Mike

This brings up an interesting subject .... I too am thinking of adding about 100hp each to my 454mags ...but I have seen post saying if they had it to do over they would wait till more HP can be gained because there wasn't much added performance with a 200hp increase. I would tend to dissagree ( I really have no clue) . while not expecting a 10mph gain I would expect better midrange, easier plane and some top end help .... Thanks for you comments ....

If you are already making 550 HP, the biggest gains you are going to make where you will be happy is going to aftermaket cyl. heads. The factory heads even with the best porter will not constitute 80 horsepower gain over where you are now. Depending on your camshaft now, a cam change may also be required. Also by going to an aftermarket head will allow you to bump the static comp. up which will also net a gain.

Best Regards,

Just did HP500's: cam change, heads, ignition and got about 600 on the dyno running wet. Need more info?

Here are the sheets from a pair of 502's we did last week with different heads, cam and upgrading to roller valve train.

Thanks Mike

Were you running these with dyno headers or wet exhaust?
