Question on the 41
#1
Yes I am the guy who started the lengthy 39/41 thread last year.
I am looking to move up to this size range and have researched the 41 a fair bit including a look at one owned in NY State.
What appeals to me is the hull efficiency and incredible cabin room vs. say a 38 Formula or similar model.
My question to the OSO faithful is how common is this boat and what are the chances of finding a clean 90's and up example with or without power? For that matter, why are the 2 advertised here not selling? The one for $124,999 has been on for a while.
Any insight would be appreciated.
I don't know of another 41 in Canada, so at some point a trip south will be in order.

The 41 from NY is like brand new as I saw it when I was up there this past year. As for why you can not find a 41, there is not many of them build each year. They usually build them as ordered. I would guess that they only build about 5 or 6 per year. This should keep the vaule up on them. I only know of 2 or 3 for sale at this time. I believe are on boatraderonline.com
Good luck in your search. They are a great boat.

Thanks for the reply.
I will keep looking for a clean used example. Preferably Bravo's/500's without an over the top paint scheme (maybe I have been looking at Formula's too long). I don't need a trailer as I have a lift.
