A couple of days ago, a friend of mine was at a boat ramp in Miami. He saw a bunch of guys with Merc shirts. They were testing a boat with new Mercruiser quad turbo motors. They were called Quadzilla. Things were very secretive and hatches were quickly closed. Anyone know anything?
Last week I was at Chief engines talking about some new motors. Tommy is building some electronic fuel injected turbo engines that are putting out 1,800 HP!! These motors are bada$$! I may be the Guinea pig.

Hey JC, Have you done anything with turbos?Chief was saying it's much more HP with less wear and tear on internal parts then blowers. I know in the old days turbos did not work well on marine applications but Chief said with the now electronics and EFI systems they are much more efficiant.
What do you think? Is it too early in the game to try these?

I have built turbo stuff for some cars.I have a friend who is building some twin turbo boat motors and should be ready in the next couple of weeks.Looking for 1300 HP on pump gas.

I thought ony TMP coudl do that on pump gas?

i hope to see more turbos in marine. i wish i had a boat for those 1800's.
