Post Does anyone know where I can buy ....

I'm looking for a pair of trailer safety chains but I'm looking for - self coiling cables with snap hooks on the ends that hook to the car.

I've seen these on trailers, but I can't find where to buy them and I know their not 'home made'. If there's a choice in strengths, I'm towing about 5300lbs.

thanks,

Turns out Lakeracer didn't have what I'm looking for either.

Anyone know where else I can get them?

I have seen them for sale at Supply Stores. Try Capital Camper Supply in Merrifield, VA, on Gallows road, (call info for number, 703 area code), or try a local trailer/camper outlet. The big hitch places should have them too, not Uhaul. Also try Southern States Tractor Supply. I know I have seen them, in person even, I just do not remember where.
