What would you be willing to pay for a 1996 382 with 500's. The boat has 600 hours on it. One motor has 250 since over haul the other is original. On a scale from one to ten I would give it about a 6 but with some work it could be made into an 8 or a 9.
Knowing that both motors would need to come out and be rebuilt and that it needs some interior work what would you be willing to pay?
Or the other way of asking this is what is the real world value of a 1996 382 with rebuilt 500's, rebuilt bravo's that would be redone with a white dash, new gauges, new interior and an updated down stairs?
Thanks
Don

Tough question with no easy answers. 9-10 year old boats can vary so much in condition, and prices are all over the map.Engines, drives, interiors can vary so much.Good thing is,since it's a Formula,no worries about structural, electrical, fuel tank, etc, etc, etc issues that you should worry about on other brands in that age group. Quite a few out there to choose from,do your homework,if you find a nice one beyond your limit, consider it,and if you find a rough one below your limit that needs work, consider it also.Good luck on your search, you have enough Formula knowledge to separate the wheat from the chaff, and your OSO Formula buddies are ready to help.
