Need Help! Can I use a Felpro 17048 Head Gasket on a Gen 6 Motor?
Assembling my motor and the service bulliten inside the head gasket box indicates mark IV and Gen 5 instructions, however it is dated 1993 before the Gen 6 was made. Can anyone tell me if I can use this gasket on a Gen 6 motor and without any modifications to the gasket?

Felpro list the #17048 as the correct gasket for a 502, marine application. This is the gasket that I run on my 502 and they have worked out great.

17207 Is the Felpro Gasket set for 502 MPI Gen 6.
