Mercury Hi-Performance tour canceled
#1
Rick at Mercury tried to get permission to have a plant tour on the weekend, which the company does not allow. After great effort, no such luck. They only allow tours during normal business hours Monday through Friday. I am speaking for the group by saying that it would be difficult for many to get off on a friday to tour the facility.
I will be in Miami this week to talk with Vic Spelberg from Formula. He told me that he would be glad to give a tour for our club. If you have not seen their facility, it is one of the most advanced in the country. Their facilty is located in Decatur, IN, which is near Fort Wayne. As a boater, it is nice to see and learn more about boats.
I think a get-away is always fun. Please list any thoughts or ideas or comments.
