A friend of mine is bringing his cruiser to the race in Ft. Meyers. Any suggestions on where he might want to dock for a couple of nights?

How many ft. and what draft Dave?

There is the Ft Meyers Yacht Basin located at MM 135 on the South side of the Caloosahatchee River close to downtown Ft Meyers. This is 15 miles up from the Gulf and may not be convenient to the races. Operated by City of Ft Meyers and has 6ft of water at the docks. Have a web site and phone is 239-334-8271.

At Ft Meyers Beach on Manatazas Pass there is Moss Marine which is a 5 minute idle to the Gulf if they want to watch the races from the boat. Phone 239-765-6677.

Also a yacht club at Cape Coral not far from the Gulf but do not know the name. Maybe someone else can jump in and share that and any other info.
