I was replacing the front brakes on my girlfriends Honda today and noticed that there is about 1/8 of an inch of play between the bearing and the steering knuckle. The bearing is pressed into the knuckle. Is this normal or do I need to have a new bearing pressed in?

you should not have that much play you will need to get the bearing changed
