Max HP from a stock 454/502 Carb Intake
What is the max HP that can be made with a stock 454/502 aluminum carb intake manifold? I want to be able to make at least 500 HP on my rebuild. I'm probably going to go with Iron Eagle Heads. Should I scrap the stock manifold and go with something better or will the stock manifold do fine.

Most people go with a single plan intake for 500+HP.
You probably can reuse the dual plane if you add a 1" open spacer and port match to the heads...
