I am repowering my '98 Formula 252LS with a complete take out HP525 to replace my 502MAG MPI.
According to the Formula brochure my boat comes with "thru bolted engine mounts using heavy duty, angled aluminum backing plates" and the donor boat had offshore mounts.
Can/should I stay with my current set up and what other choices do I have and how much $$$ to change over?
What would you guys/gals do?
Thanks,
S4Hadi

I would go with the Gil offshore race mount if I were to do it. Install that mount and add 2 pieces of 4x6 aluminum angle and bolt everything down tight with 1/2" bolts. You will be very satisfied with that mount job.
Need any other help feel free to call or email me.
