Default Painting motor and manifolds

I've seen quite a few engine pictures here where the engine and exhaust manifolds are the same color. I have yet to find an engine ( high heat, spray can ) paint like the custom colors I see here. Are you guys just using a single stage paint like PPG or Imron? If so how does it hold up to the heat on the manifolds?

Yes that is what people use. The paint will peal off the manifolds just near the exhaust after time.

I use Dupont Centari acrylic enamal. Make sure to use a resperator, it's nasty stuff to breath.

Powder coat them. Did my headers 8 years ago. The other parts I did this winter.
