what the he!! is this thing. its mounted under my helm
got a bunch-o-wires in it. its an all black box so I'm sure its something suspicious. this is only a guess but maybe it was placed there by the government or worse mercruiser
I'm thinking that the little black box inside with the merc symbol on it is some kind of osmotic mind control device used to alter thought patterns and influence buying habits. the two silver boxes must be some kinda GPS transceiver so they always know where i am at and can take pics of me from space
but seriously . . .what the he!! is this thing? all my trim switch wires go through it and i have had inconsistent drive trim issues in the past. can i wire past it . . . what ever it is?

relay box for your drive trims, im guessing your boat is mid to late eights with twins, if so then thats how they over came cross wiring, cris craft was know for using them in the stingers ect.....

yep . . . its an 85 Chris Craft 260 Stinger. i got rid of my trailer switch and kept just the 2 drive switches. do i still need this? i still dont understand what it actually does. seems like the system would be a whole lot simpler without it. all i need is the two switches wired to the relays on the pumps. thanks all
