I have my trim tabs and actuators off my transom due to a project and I would like to add larger tabs without having to upgrade to a whole new system.
Is there an add on tab tab that will attach to the existing mounting location/holes? How difficult is it to add a mechanical trim indicator to the Bennett system?
Thanks,
Jamal

Lenco makes a nice non hydralic tab that mounts in the same location as a Bennett tab. You dont even have to add any holes. If you look they even have an indicator light built in the trim switch on the dash. You can even get an auto trim up when you turn the ignition keys off.
Whats really nice about these is when you touch the trim button, they move, none of this having to wait crap.

I was thinking of just adding larger tabs to the existing bennett system.
There used be an advertiser on OSO with pop ups that made those...Victory something or other.

I gochha. Thats cool and all just keep in mind that if you have a single ram you cant have to large of a tab. Reasons being to much leverage for a single ram and you can bend the outside edges up around the ram because of the lack of support by a second ram. I beleive Bennett tells you on high performance boats they only want to see a dbl ram tab combination (over 60 mph).

I believe martiniboat's company is what you are thinking of. Since he has passed away, that is not an option. I don't know if any other companies make an upgrade.

I wanted to buy the victory trim tabs but couldn't.
So i drew up something similar in CAD and am having a custom bike shop build them out of stainless for me. I took measurements off the bennet tabs and basically designed my own version. They're very similar to the victory tabs, by necessity. I have the dual ram bennet setup and the old tabs were bent. The new tabs will be MUCH stronger, much thicker material with much more reinforcement. I don't know how the victory tabs were built, but these will be built damn strong. i'll post pics when i get them.

Brian Kamrath, the owner of Victory Trim Tabs (aka "Martiniboat" on another site) has passed away.
I don't know if his company will still be in business. I understand that family has stepped in to take over, but I believe it is only till current orders are filled. Beyond that, no idea.
