Do you have a brand preference? Let me know if you do and I'll shoot you a price on it. If you are looking for a recommendation I would probably go with the SuperChips for that model if it was mine.
Give me a brand and I'll shoot you a price.

I have an 02 F350 7.3 powerstroke in the UK and have used Superchips 1705 programmer for a year now with no probs, gas mileage averages at about 19-21 mpg unladen, you can drop the power depending on the weight you are towing.

Check us out at www.pmtdiesel.com
The Superchips or SCT are at the top of the list for the 7.3L
We also have discounted Performance Packages.

I currently run the Superchip 1700 tuner and it has been bulletproof. I like the 1700 version better than the 1705 however I think the 1705 is the only new one you can buy. You might want to search e-bay for a 1700

I have the Bully Dog Power pup programmer in mine with the Outlook display. When I run it in the 75 hp setting , my mileage increases about 20 %. With the Outlook you can shift on the fly. The Bully dog has settings for your transmission but I also added a Banks Trans Command since I've already bought a 3600.00 transmission from Ford and I didn't want to take any chances.

my work truck is a 1999 E350 van over loaded to about 10,000 . Got about 11 to 12 mpg had a buddy give me his old superchips programer when he traded his truck for new , I run it on the highest setting and get 14 to 15 mpg's and only need 1/4 throttle . l Love it , and it was free . Check e bay I bet there are some old boxes like this sitting on the shelf when guy's buy new trucks.
