Default procharger carburetor

we are running 555c.i. m3 procharger at 8 lbs of boost. we expect around 960hp. what type of carburetors are people using with a similar set up? we have been told by both engine builder, procharger, quickfuel, etc to use eitehr a chokeless bg 750 by some of them and 850-900cfm by the others...i believe there is a baja 272 with a 502 running north of 1000hp on here that would have a similar set up. please respond what company, cfm, options, modified, etc. thanks

I have been told to buy them from nickerson. Are you using carbboxes, or hats?

I have a Procharger dual carb box polished with 2 450 Holley carbs, which is what the Procharger guys recommend for the big HP applications. You can send the carbs to Nickerson and he will work them for a few hundered dollars apiece. Make me a reasonable offer for it all.

i think nickerson is the guy. if i understand correctly he uses the 750 (i think) and works it to flow inthe 900s. PLEASE dont quote me, as i am no expert!!! my brother runs one on a 502 and has never had an issue!! he recommends Nickerson highly!!

Dean Nickerson set up my 540. He used the same 750 I had on my 454, but worked it to flow 900 cfm. Dyno'd at 910 hp, idles great. Dean definitely did NOT want to use an 850 for this application.

for some reason i think the body on the 750 allows for more mods to be made. if you call him he'll tell you exactly which carb number to get or you can just buy one right from him. i did call him at some point when i was thinking procharger but never did it......yet.

I use 800 CFM Annular Booster Mighty Demon carburetors on this combination.

Current engine is a Roots supercharged 468". 89 Octane 715 HP, 675 lb/ft. Playing with a centrifugal street motor right now.
