Just got through using one. Got them at auto zone for 26.00. Forgot the part number but it was felpro and blue rubber. Only problem I had was the sales woman insisting on a cheaper cross referenced gasket. Obviously not the one I wanted because it was in a flat box. The one peice will be in box about 4 inches thick.

Yup, the one piece gasket is the way to go. I only use those on the MKIV 2 piece rear main seal motors. Much nicer to use and install. Plus if you ever need to take the pan off you can re-use it again!

I tried a one piece felpro, didn't actually fit that well. I ended up having an annoying leak all summer. You may want to go with the MR. Gasket Ultraseal - MRG-5883 on summit racing. It only costs $10 too.
The key is what you use with it though. I highly recommend using "The Right Stuff" gasket maker by Permatex. I've been told you can seal leaks externally with this stuff. It comes in a aerosol can too so it's easy to apply.
That's the current setup I'm using, no issues. Just my 2 pennies though.
