I 've had 2 people in the past 5 weeks quote me a price for a boat and than raise the price $15 - 20k. Is it me or do these folks have some set of nuts ??? I probably will not mention names because I know they read these boards but what are peoples thoughts about this, and trust me I have NO emotional attachment to any boat when shopping for a one.

I just had that happen too! The guy raised the price on me so I walked away from him......he keeps calling and now we are going after a different boat
His boat is still for sale

people get stupid, you show interest so they think "ah, now I got him, let's see what I can get"....
IF they can not be trusted on something as simple as a price, how can you trust them on anything about the boat?
