Was out Sat. weather was cool, but nice. If you don't usually boat this early in the year, and today is supposed to be even nicer, be very careful. Their are fish nets everywhere, if you run the channel you will be fine. But once leaving the channel look out. They are marked with floats with flags on both ends...in some cases. We saw them with flags on one end and just a float on the other, some had floats all the way across the net. Some were 100 yds long, others only 25. Coming out of Goose Bay to Nanjomey creek were alot, and At Tims II Fairview Beach their are alot. Again not in the channel, but watch out when you leave it. Especially around Tims II the channel is all the way on the MD side of the river. The netting season ends Mar. 25, if you dont normally boat before that, you may never have seen them out their before.
