Wow guys...nothing is going on, so lets spice it up a bit...I know of nothing, except pro wrestling and Rick32 insults, that can stir the board up better than a good thread on the Roller Derby!!!! Who were your favorite skaters...not the floating kind, but the roller derby kind...
First of all, you have to start with the greatest jammer (scorer) of all time....Little Ralphie Valaderas, then there was the best female skater, Shirley Hardman and Terri Lynch were as tough as they come...all time lunatic team was Psycho Ronnie Rains...he would absolutely punish his body slamming it over and through the railing. Danny Reilly was a great defenseman. Dave Pound was a crooked commissioner. John Hall was always general manager of the year...how about Joannie Weston from the Bay Bombers????? How about Raquel Welch in that roller derby movie???? Am I jogging some of those memories??? Favorie team had to be the LA T-Birds when they played at the Olympic Auditorium with Dick Lane at trackside...make sure and call RIchmond 9 5171...Ah, the good old days...I went to high school with Tricky Vicki Steppe...she could move!!! I sure miss that sport...ever seen an Indian Death Match at halftime in which they tie a ten foot strap between two skaters and let them go hog wild on each other for five laps....I know some of your perverts could get into that...especially when Honey Sanchez was at the end of the strap!!!!! Throw me your thoghts boys and girls....
