Yes, all my years in drag racing I never had a sponsor. Lots of marketing partners and associates tho

Sponsorship is a dirty word indicating a "handout" with no return on investment.

Looks great if you race a car or anything that is held at a track that can charge a ticket fee!!!,don't mean to be negative but we won just about everything in F1 in 2006 and pumped what little sponsors we had every time on TV 14 TIMES and got us this---unable to race this year!!! Spent Hugh money and time with some of the larger company's in marketing America to have everyone of them to basically say without some gate count they had no way to verify the demographics and#s that the city's and chamber of commerce provided me, and would not be beneficial to them in a financial capacity !!! So if you have a great contact or sponsor please feel free to give him my # 410-967-5039 we are a PRO team that can get it done on or off the race course. AL CULBERTSON

no direspect but just shows ignorace... whhich most sponsorship hunters have...
has nothing to do w/ gate count/tv... you have to find what u do have and make partnerships!!... not sponsors!!!
oh yeah and winnig has nothing to do with it either!!
its definitely one of the hardest things in the world to find.. but by taking the wrong aproach u have no chance
