Default Boat Lift Options

I will be doing my boating near LBI in NJ, and will be keeping my 38 ZR behind house at dock. I am currently investigating boat lifts for the boat for both barnacle and crud avoidance as well as theft deterrent.

Due to a spacing situation with neighbors, I am looking at the side elevator type - seen alot in Florida but I have not seen many up here in NJ. Anyone in the area with experience with either or both types that could offer advice. (Put in brand new dock last fall 60' long 8" pilings spaced at 5')

Thanks for any contributions.
Ray

Contact Mr_Velocity on the board, he worked with the High Tide lifts and probably can get you what you need.

He did a row of approximately 12 lifts at my marina here in NJ.

I have 3 16k pounders. The elevator is my favorite. Easy on and easy off. Most important feature to get is Remote operation. Second, boaters have a insatiable history of moving to a larger boat. I believe it is called 3 footitis. Install a larger lift that will fit your disease in the future.

I have a 3 year old 7000 lb. Alum- A- Vator for sale in perfect condition if any one is looking for a good deal on one. It has curently stored a 27 ft Baja on it and also am needing to go bigger for a 38 footer. It is located in New Jersey on Barnegat Bay.
