Default Powder Coated Outdrive

Wel I have the drives disassemble they are being media blasted this week Have a new paint gun and the Merc refinishing procedure and am readty to go.

Has anyone powdercoated there drive and should I think about ging that direction instead?

I know a guy that did it a couple months ago and said he didn't think it would be that much work.He only did the lower.He charged the guy $300 just for doing it and said it wasn't enough but it looked good.

I had mine powdercoatd outboard mid, dont like it.

I eventually just went out and bought a new one.

Once the powdercoat gets a chip it will get water under it and start peeling off and bubbling. I would just paint it.
