Default 700 - 750 HP Build, Recomendations?

Now that my 468 Blower motor is sorted out and running perfect. I plan to start my next engine project. I have started collecting the components to build a 572, tall deck,
700 to 750 HP, NA, Fuel Injected engine.

I'm going with a modified ASM 500HP EFI Intake, ASM Throttle Body, Brodix Oval Port Heads, Dart Block, Lunati or Scat Crank, Oliver or Eagle Rods, JE Pistons, Rev Valves, Jessel or T&D Shaft Rockers, Belt Drive Timing, CMI Sport Tubes, MSD Ignition and custom ECU Mapping.

Any of you guys with big power care to share some specifications with me? I'm looking for cam specs and compression ratios primarily to get me to the 700 -750 HP range, on pump gas of course.

Pantera,
I can be a of help with your next N/A build up. I am a WD for manufacturer out there for engine components to marinizing parts, including Mercury. I have built many 510 "A"-"B" class offshore race engines producing 750-800 HP with 1X4 carb and iron Merlin cyl. heads. (by rules) We also have built many engines for pleasure boat application like what your thinking of doing. My advice and support is free providing I have an opportunity to supply you with the correct components the first time around @ competive prices. Thanks!

Best Regards,

I would think you would have a hard time making 700+ hp with a 500HP EFI Intake with out supercharging it.The most I have heard them making is about 640 hp pump gas with a 500efi intake 540ci

Do you already have the Brodix Oval Port Heads?

Buying a known package like what Dean is talking about takes out the guessing and wasted money trying to figure it out.

Most of the engines I have seen like what your talking about are 598ci,throttle body efi ,pro 1 heads, pump gas makes between 720-750. depending on CR and cam.

Call Dean! Their many builders out their, also a lot of "talkers" about being the best. Don't make a bad mistake & try to find the cheapest... it will cost you in the end.. Do your self a favor & call Gellner.

Maybe someone with alittle more knowledge will chime in here, but aren't the HP500 EFI rectangular port heads??? That intake set-up won't work with oval port heads...

A stand-up guy surely would not have a problem paying for advertising space or at the very least, a membership, to sell his expertise on this site.

Dean Just joined the forum last month...I'm sure we all scoped the sight before becoming a member... Also he has spoke to Steve about advertising here. although he gets his work by word of mouth & honest good quality workmanship.

I will stand by the "stand up guy" statement.
