Default Bravo 1 or Hydromotor Need Some Help!!

Running a 30 Outlaw with 496(375hp) Bravo 1's turning 5200 WOT at 72 GPS 3/4 tank of gas with 3 people. Runs good but hitting rev limiter. Should I go with 28 Pitch Bravo and have them labbed or go with a set a labbed Hydromotor Intimidator IV? Any and all info would be great Thanks...

I'm confident you will prefer the Bravo 1's to the Hydro Q4 on your hull.

What pitch are you running now?

I'm a little surprised you can turn 5200 with your 496's. You may want to check your tachs. The rev limiter is at 4950.

Rotation can greatly affect the performance of you hull too.

Running 26 pitch now non labbed tach reads 5200 when the rev limiter stops it. Props spinning outward. will have to check them but as of now that is what they are reading

The HO version is 5150.

Mercruiser usually goeas 150 rpm above rcomended WOT.

Mercury Racing will usually go 200 over.

Do you think I would be better off with staying with the Bravo 4 blades or going to the Hydro Q4. What do you think I would get out of the Hydro Q4's?

My advice would be to stay with Bravo 1 series propellers. I don't believe you will have any advantage with the Hydros.
