If There's Not Someone Making Gear Sets, There Sure Should Be.....the Profit Margin Has To Be Huge If They Already Have The Equipment! Not Just Gear Sets, But All Kinds Of Internals. Trs Parts Are Starting To Dry Up Especially.

It would not take much to get the rest of the equipment needed to cut with and I'm seriously thinking about it, as a sideline.......

From what I understand it's not the cost of making the gears, it's the cost of making the pieces that forge the gear.
If I remember correctly, IMCO said it would cost around $150K to have it made, that's why they don't do it.

Call Steve @ 800 932 9120 x210
He makes a lot of different marine parts for a lot of different manufacturer's. I know he makes spline shafts. If not, he may be able to put you on the right track.
