I am planning to visit family in DL in the next few weeks and want to take the boat. Have any of you ever boated near Rohobeth, Ocean City area. I need info on dockage and marinas ect. Any help would be appreciated.

Just inside the Inlet you have North Marina that has nice dockage. The indian River & Rehobeth Bays are very shallow even at High tide you must follow the markers or you will be in trouble. IMO there is not much room to run in those bays although there is a cool bar/restuarant called the Rusty Rutter tthat you can dock your boat at for a few beverages.
My parents have a place on the Rehobeth Bay and when I visit I usually do not take my boat (Donzi 22 classic) because of limited running. If you have a bigger boat you have all kinds of running in the ocean which is NICE!!!

Thanks for the info. Im running a 35 Fountain was looking to go offshore. Never boated there so looking for as much info as possible.

Look for gold around the Inlet. People are always finding Gold coins from shipwrecks there. Good surf too.

You can run the ocean for sure the best place IMO would be North Marina it is just inside the inlet has brand new dockage and gas. Where you run in the ocean is unlimited you could run down to Ocean City, MD which has nice waterfronts restaurants, run up to Cape May, NJ, Lewes, DE which also has some nice waterfront restuarants. Definately take the boat you will have a ball..

I boat here and keep a small Cig here. Lots of cool bars and restaurants here. Contact me when you get close to the vacation. As the other guy said, HOT DUCK is down here too. Will has the only 45' Apache ever built. Very cool boat.
