I have my boat sold and the buyer would like to meet me in Reno and then splash in Tahoe to check out the boat.

Are there public launch ramps and any permits required?

Also, we are in the high 70's here so wondering about the weather up there. Is there still snow? Is the lake frozen? Should the boat be winterized?

Buyer is from Seattle so he will be hauling it back up there.

Still snow, in fact it just snowed yesterday. There are public ramps at Tahoe City and in Incline Village. I don't know if ANY of the ramps, public and private, will be open this early. You may have to run down to West Shore to Obexters to launch. No permits required but they are strong on noise. Most boats wont splash there until mid to late June.

Its also real lean up there, don't burn her down...
