Default ATTN: No Cal Boaters!

Have a buyer for my boat coming south from Seattle, I'm going north from Vegas. looking for a spot in Nor Cal to hand over the boat and hopefully splash for a quick sea trial. I was thinking maybe Folsom, The Delta, Sac River?

Any sugestions? Anyone want to run with us? May try for this weekend.

Not in No Cal but have made the trip back and forth many times. 1/2 way spot is Lake Shasta.

Isn't Shasta a little icy this time of year?

Delta is good all year, been out a bunch already. Just need to keep you eyes open for drift wood this time of year. Folsom, Camanchy, New Molones, Don Pedro, etc. will all be good. Again, driftwood. Tahoe might be icy. Shasta is good too, was just there a week ago picking up a boat out of storage.

Folsom Lake has 5 m.p.h. limit on the entire lake right now because of floating debris.

There is a lake in Reno you may be able to use, Shasta is a great option. But beware of debris this time of year.
Good Luck.
