I have been lurking this board for about 2 months now. I live in STL and own a replacement window company. I currently do not own a boat but am in the market. What I really want is an older cigarette. I have boated my whole life with friends. So I know a little about it. I have been reading about offshore boats everywhere for about 5 years. I am trying to educate myself as much as I can before I buy. I have never been to LOTO but am hoping to go this summer. Thats enough for now.

Welcome aboard DB. You will find the best leads and offers of help on this board. OSO is the best group of people anywhere. You might as well go ahead and give in to the OSO addiction.

good to see you finally jumped in....
I am in Paducah, about 3 hour drive from STL....
Our club is WKYPA, there is a club forum here, we have a BIG event planned May 20, if you get a boat it may be worth dragging her down....

you can call me anytime, I'm a dealer at loto and can find you about anything you want for a good price, It sounds like you are looking for a performance boat, keep in mind loto is stupid rough and I would look for the best rough water boat you can find and go a little older and get a longer boat, in a cig at least a 35 or 38 minimum, jim 636 236-4141 midwest performance marine

db71,
Welcome to the family... and that's what OSO is! I live right accros the river in Illinois, and in the construction trade myself. Just sold my boat
and probibly going to go with out for the next couple of years. LOTO is an adventure to say the least.... Shoot me a PM sometime, there is always a cold beer right accross the Old Miss.
