Default Hitch question for H2 with rear mounted tire?

Anyone out there have an H2 with a rear mounted tire? If so, have you found a hitch that is long enough to clear the tire so that I don't have to move the tire up? Also, was it rated high enough? If so, where did you get it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks!

Go to putnamhitch.com

Look under products and go to ball mounts. They have draw bars that have over a 12" shank (distance between pin hole in receiver and mounting hole for ball).

If you are going with something like that; with an extended shank, watch as it probably drops the weight capacity well below what you are looking for. My hitch setup has two holes to slide in your hitch pin. The one with the ball closest to the truck is 12K rated. The hole with the ball farther out away from the truck; by 2 inches, is rated at only 10K. This is a WD hitch setup with a two piece drawbar. You may find something like this that will work, but you have to look at the very very fine small print stamped in the side of the drawbar shank to know any of this.

standard length. Its a 6 inch drop..gives me just enough room
under the tire to lock the hitch on the trailer. The onboard compressor keeps
it level...does anyone use a supercharger. these h2 s could
use some more power.

I know a guy with the supercharger but it's still not enough when pulling a large boat. That's why I sold mine and a duramax dually sits in it's place.
