Default correct prop for 2001 25 outlaw

a friend just bought a 2001 25 outlaw with mag 502. it came with 25p mirage. trouble getting out of the hole and light on rpms at wot. does anyone have suggestions for 3 or 4 blade possibilities and their performance. tia for your advice.

A Friend Has The Same Boat With 454 And Up Dated
Computer And We Put On A 22 Pitch 4 Blade Hydromotive
And It Works Great.

A 25 outlaw with your power should come with a 23 mirage plus. You have way to much prop for your package.

benn there done that, tested everything and they are all right on 23 mirage plus

FYI - If you get the urge to run a 4 blade prop, such as a Bravo I, drop down a pitch to a 22. Otherwise, everyone is right on with the 23P Mirage+.

Rocko,

Do you have any more information on running a 4 blade. Another guy I boat with told me he picked up quite a lot of speed in the midrange with little or no loss of speed with a 4 blade. About the only thing I don't like about my 25 is the speed at 3,500 rmp. Only about 43-33 mph.

The 4 blade will pick up your midrange, but you wont gain and will probably loose a little top end.
