I have a customer with a 2000 38 Fountain with 500 EFIs. It is a new boat to him. It came with 28 pitch Bravo 1 props that were lab finished. Unfortunately he trashed the props(and drives) before getting to run the boat enough to see if they were correct. I need to order him new props but I don't know if stock 28s would be the correct props to start with. What props would that boat have been shipped with, running at sea level?

Most likely the 28's will be the props to start with. The operating range for the engine is 4800-5200 with the rev limiter at 5400.
We have some 28 box stock Bravo 1's you can test with. Give us a call.

Bob,
Here is the number for Fountain Powerboats 252-975-7007.
They can tell you the make and pitch of the propellers that the boat was delivered with, hopefully.
We can always send you props to try if you don't get the info you are looking for. Give me a call if you have any trouble getting the info.
