FYI....AAA now writes boat Ins. up to 33'!!!
AAA used to go up to 26' 5", now they go up to 33' 
Pontoons, V-bottoms, Houseboats, fishing boats are all ok. I don't think cats are ok....you might need to call and ask.
They won't insure boats in Havasu

Is there any catches that they want your homeowners policy, auto, things like this to insure you or they will just cover the boat alone?

I did find out that they won't insure a boat over 65mph

Be patient I'm working with a new carrier for cat insurance,but due to their corporate headquarters being located in BAGHDAD things are moving slowly.
