Just found out from Gaffrig that all of my gauges in my 99 Top Gun are FAKES! Cheap knock offs. How would a company like Cigarette let this happen and why wouldn't Cigarette recall all of these? Is it just me or is this a scam?

They may have been Ghaffrig in 99 wich is now Livorsi
If that is the case you didn't get robbed. I don't think Ghaffrig and Livorsi are friendly

Are they original from Cig factory?? Or have they been replaced? Find it very hard to believe

save yourself a ton of $$ and just go to summit or jegs and buy AUTOMETERS...they make all the guages including Gaffrig and Livorsi

Factory... and I was told they were knock off's. Gafrigg said they had sued the company that was mis representing their name...

If you look at the 1st pic you'll see how some of the glass is "frosting over" It looks like crystal. It's crappy looking but I really didn't want to spend thousand$ of $$$ to replace a couple gauges... Is Mike Livorsi on this board? Maybe he can assist?

That's BS!! Those gauges are identical to the gauges in my boat. Gaffrig and Livorsi went through a nasty lawsuit. Mike Livorsi had rights to the Gaffrig name and they didn't like it! Let me guess, Gaffrig told you this info???

Yep, EXACTLY! Gaffrig said for me to send them a list of the gauges I have and they would sell me new ones and a 'good price". He said he gets calls every day with problem gauges like mine. Nothing he can do about it. I also emailed Mike Livorsi to see if he would chime in... I just wanted them fixed. I guess maybe Mike Livorsi is the one I should be speaking with?

I would not hesitate to call Mike directly. He is very approachable and great to work with. If you want the Cigarette logo, he can give you exactly what codes to order ***from Cigarette*** because you can't buy them anywhere else.
