Good deal on a 29' outlaw or not????

chick has a 1999 29' outlaw with one year old 7.4l motors
boat needs all new upholstery everything else seems to be in good shape boat sat outside uncovered for a good while
selling because husband is locked up and she wants what's owed on the boat $30k
is this a good deal or not

Sounds good to me, I think similiar boats are selling in the high 40's. If you can do an interior for 3k you might have a steal or something you can make some $$$ on!

Make sure the boat is in her name and she is not selling it behind her husband's back. I know a guy who sold his brother' s ski boat while his brother was in jail and almost went back to jail when he found out.

no i havent seen it but a friend about an hour away from me called with the deal he says looks like ia good deal
also the boat is in her name thats another reason shes trying to sell it she says she cant afford it and just wants what they owe

Check the title and have it surveyed. The 29 Outlaw during that time had stringer problems. Search OSO for more info. Alos pull the exhaust manifolds and check for water reversion. Those old style cast iron manifolds are prone to leak at the flange and the revert water.
