Default No Marco fun run for us!

Had some work done on the Baja earlier in the week...Mechanic must have accidently left the batteries on ...
Both dead as a door nail...wouldn't take a charge...
changed one....bad starter

My kids are pissed at me...they don't get to meet "bobthebuilder" today

And we missed your kids too, Hans. That had to be upsetting with them having worked on your boat during the week.
I carry a battery pack and it came in handy at our beach party.
Smithboy36 was in charge of music and he ran his batteries down. Had him running in no time tho.

Your kids would really be pissed if they knew what they missed. Here are a few pics with more over on the Ft Meyers Offshore site under Boat Clubs.
It's a beautiful day out there today Hans if you can take the fam out.

What battery pack do you carry? I want to buy one as a safety net. It looks like you had a nice crowd on that beach with some really nice hardware. How long of a run is that from Tampa Bay?

Don't really know which pack I bought. Just know it is a big heavy duty job that does the job when needed. Don't buy a little cheap one or it may let you down too.

We had 19 offshores in our group. Boats came down from Cape Coral, Ft Myers, FM Beach, Bonita, Naples. Also Ron and Pam came down in their 39 Nor Tech from Sarasota. I would say from Tampa Bay to Marco is about 160 miles depending on which part of the Bay. Almost a 3 hr run. Ron and Pam have a place on Pine Island so I think they came Friday so it was easy to hook up with the group Sat morning. Going back today.
If you ever want to come down and look around, let me know. Some great waters around here. But don't tell anyone. SSSHHH !! LOL

Too late, in about 2 years we will be looking for a second home down there, it's beautful place to be. Bob and Shari Smallwood are frends of ours, originally from the Ft Walton beach area, they own the 37 A.T. Attitude Adjustment that I noticed in the 3rd pic, they love it down there. Looks like you guys had a great day. Jeff
