Default Great Insurance News !

Hartford Insurance is now offering jet ski insurance to members of AARP on a stand alone basis. I guess I'll have to buy a shop vac to clean all the old farts off buoys and pilings.

WOW, those guys at Hartford are really going out on a limb! How many 55+ years olds would ride a jetski nevermind buy one. What is next sailboat insurance for Poker Run guys or even a fisherman's discount for Cigarette owners! I really think they should offer Hurricane policies for Canadian residents or snow damage protection for Florida residents. The last time I checked with Progressive they wanted like $1200 year for a pair of Yamaha 800's. I thougth about buying it but just ran them for a year and sold them without ever insuring them. I usually am very pro insurance but figured if I wrecked I would be probably dead so it wouldn't be my problem anymore.............................

We have a '98 XL1200 and they wanted $600 to insure it! Same rate as our '96 22' Mariah...crazy!...So now we keep the waterbike under the house and saved hundreds.

I thought someone came up with a way to insure cats, hell even HP boats at a decent rate would be a good start.
