Still in the developemental prototype stage is the five passenger proof-of-concept craft: 30' length overall x 12'6" beam overall. Estimated 85 mph cruise speed on just under 300hp. Main body flies approximately four feet above average wave crests on three-point shock dampened foils. Total weight dry is approximately 1750 pounds. Current prototype engine configuration puts a standard Mercury race outboard out on the tail. Race lower unit, race propellor, low water pick-up, and race style low back-pressure exhaust through Mercury racing mid-section. Approximately 300 horsepower @9000rpm. Tilt trailer allows for standard width highway transport.

Military and Homeland Security Application

SEAL Insertion/ Harbor Patrol:

Number one long-term concern of the US Navy SEAL operative during small boat insertion ops is the accumlative effect of the constant pounding on his body. The average SEAL will complete his career one inch shorter than his enlistment height. Due soley to the never ending wave impact loads on his spine. Many admirable approaches have been made to mitigate shock loads to small boat combatants at the seat base. But the more logical approach would be to intercept the problem at its source; the sea-surface interaction zone. The SeaPhantom does this. Our craft rises to cruise above the average wave crests. And, we are a boat with a suspension system. A very serious suspension system. Non-corrosive fiberglass leaf springs, and 60,000 pond test billet-aluminum airbags for dampening effect absorb errant wave impact.

Servicemen assigned to patrol will be in far better shape to perform their duties if not beat into the ground during hours of small boat operation.


Future Force Multiplier Example:

SeaPhantom scaled up; (2 boats): 90'LOA x 34'BOA, 150 knot cruise, armed w/ ship-to-ship, surface-to-surface, surface-to-air systems, and six, internally deployable, 85 knot similarly armed drone craft-each (twelve drones, two mothers total). Acquisition cost similar to Blackhawk helicopter but yeilds force multiplier by factor of 30+. Blackhawk goes home after 2 hours- out of fuel. Indefinite loiter capability of our system puts them on station 8-to-12 hours or more. Unmannned drones indefinite. Effectively neutralizing a carrier battle group, or major national harbor for the price of a Blackhawk.

Assuming AWACS or JSTARS battle-theater control, with satellite downlink; cruise missle attack on the SeaPhantom system will fail. Simply vectors away @ 150knots from sub-sonic missle. Air-to-surface, ship-to-ship attacks fail against the SeaPhantom as well. Inherently low radar signature foils targeting systems. You cannot kill what you cannot target. Very high speed and extreme manuverability due to the craft's bank turn system foil manually targeted attempts. Ultra-high survival probabilities are apparent.

Our proprietary technology is available for rapid exploitation/deployment. All sub-systems are well proven, highly tested concepts. Designed in unique assemblege to produce a low-risk/ high-yeild developement program.
