Default Water Pump Loosing Suction

I start the motor, couple minutes goes by , starts to pump water out the headers. stops, comes out the right , comes out the left then stops. Could a leaking sea strainer cause this or strainer gasket ? Its obvious im loosing suction .No clogs or kinks in any hose. New impeller. New water hose also.

Any leak in the intake side could cause it and so could a scored pump housing. How did it look when you were replacing the impeller??

New impeller? What happened to the old one? Perhaps you have pieces of the old one blocking the water passages.

Are you sure that you replced the inlet hose on the raw water pump in the correct position? It is possible to switch them.
