Default Imco External Steering

I'm looking to replace the external rubber hose that goes from the transom to the cylinders.I looked on the Imco site and they sell the stainless ends and hose.It says the ends are reusable, but I dont see how they would attach onto the rubber hose.Like earls fittings have a two piece design and it sandwiches the hose.Anyone have any idea how they come apart? Can I get this hose any where else then them?I left a phone message and two e-mails at Imco and no call back.

Thanks for any info.

similiar to earl's. aeroquip has a line of power steering hoses and ends that are field servicable and the imco ends look like the aeroquip ends in either chrome or polished stainless.
