The longest shelf rod Carrillo makes for the std journal (2.200)
BBC is 6.735", part # C-427>-76735 S or C-427>-76735 H. They would make you the 6.80" for a nominal up-charge.
Oliver does stock a 6.800" BBC std journal connecting rods in various series' and price points.
E4340 aircraft billet
I-Beam Big Block Series #C6800BB8
I-Beam Big Block Max Series #C6800BBHV8
They also make a forged I-Beam E4340 Chrome -Moly rod in the 6.800".
While some machinists may consider rods manufactured in China to be adequate for certain limited power applications, any comparison to a Carrillo/Oliver/Lentz/Crower piece, from a materials, manufacturing, machining, or durability standpoint, is simply not there.
I would suggest you contact board advertisers
Laz Mesa@
Mesa Balancing
or
JC Performance Engines
for pricing on these brands.

Found a dealer
6.8 Carrillos $1880 with wmc7 bolt or $2100 with Carr bolts.
What is the "S" and "H" at the end of the part # stand for. I assumed H was for H beam but aren't all top end Carrillos H beams?
