Default Satellite radio in the boat

I have the Sirius JVC unit in my truck. I thought I would just need a different docking station for the boat. I didn't realise my antenna is magnetic. How have others mounted there satellite antennas?

I little bit of 3M 4200 works great. Or you can take a stong magnet of the opposite pole and put it inside the boat on the opposite side of the magnet if you have access.

I bought a spare antenna for $10 on ebay and used some 4200 to hold it down.

Just get a radar arch and throw everything up there.

That's where my antenna is.......

Held down with silicone. I need to paint it white though to blend better.

Stop the antenna madness

Please just mount it under the dash and enjoy not looking at it or trying to figure out how to paint it! I promise you it will work just fine

Make sure it is sitting upright on something and is not directly under a piece of lead
