Yeah, it's real. The guys are a team from Germany that come over every year to run at the electric rc boat record trials, NAMBA. The damn thing is running on batteries. It is faster than anyones gas or nitro rc boats currently. The gas RC boats are just over 100 and the nitro rc boats are around 107 I believe. This is an average speed for a two-way run over a 330 foot surveyed course. You would not believe how fast the little suckers go by.
