Hey guys you live there, what is the I 95 deal? Still closed?

dhlaw can give more specifics, but I know I-95 is open in Brevard Co., and I think a 10-12 section is still closed in Voluisa Co.

I 95 is closed every morning 5-9AM from SR520 to US50 in Brevard country. This morning they didn't close it down and by next weekend I doubt they will be closing it down unless the fires start up again.

In Volusia ... different story. 95 is closed for 12 miles starting at SR 442. The smoke is still there and some trees fell onto the highway as they were weakened by the fire and blown over by the winds.

Really too early to tell on that one for next weekend. Hopefully they will get it cleaned up. If not US1 won't take too much longer as long as you don't come thru during rush hour.

If coming up from the south, I would suggest the turnpike to Orlando and then I-4 into Daytona.

Just read on the internet that I-95 was CLOSED @ the indian River/Brevard Co. line for smoke Fire! Man, we need RAIN!

I can hear that DONZI running all weekend, already! I might try to convince mama that we should go boating tommorrow, since this will be the last time that she can boating for a while! Sunday is out, because of MAMA's day, and we have a bunch of family coming over.

I'll be out tomorrow. We haven't had a nice day on it yet. We got about 2 hours of sun on the way up from Ft. Lauderdale, and had a wedding last weekend.
