Thanks to everyone that participated. I was scared at first when Tom and Rose were the only people present. The weather did not agree with us. It wasn't long before people started rolling in. We had a great time and the party was still growing when we left at about 9:30. (Had to relieve the sitter). Congrats. to Becky she won $95.00 In the 50/50 raffel. Unfortunately, I was not there long enough for her to buy me a drink!

It just wasn't the same without donkey boy

I think a good time was had by all , we left at around 11.The run for today obviously was canceled , sun did poke out for a bit, the run is rescheduled for next sunday 1pm, which is good , my boat should be ready then, have tons left to do.

According to today's weather report, Sunday may be rain free.
Let's see what happens.

Where are you located,,,,, I mean near the Milwaukee area?
We will be in the Milwaukee area over Memorial Day, far away from the Houston Texas water ways! Work brings us to that area 2-3 weeks a month, including weekends. This means when we are not at an OSS race, or on the water at home we are .... .....stuck on land with the land people!

Seriously, it would be nice to meet up with some folks from up there if there is a gathering planned.

We are aprox 40min. South of Milwaukee. (From the Southern border of Milwaukee.) The chain O'Lakes is a senic and eventful area. You do not even need a boat. Blarney Island has a schuttle that runs on the hour. They have live bands and contests weekly. Look them up on the web. MJ.

PS. Most of our active club members will be in the Ozarks for the holiday weekend. Blarny's Island will still be rocking... Check it out. It has been written up in sevral magazines and has been around since the early 1900"s.
