Spectre Cats.Evaluate

Question Spectre Cats.Evaluate

Anybody have anything good or bad about these cats.While I`m at it is their a difference between a cat and a tunnel hull or is tunnel just another name for them.I also would like to hear pros & cons of cats. over deep v`s..Yeah I know SPEED is #1

Not a bad boat...i believe it is basically a copy of the Skater, Active Thunder builds a 32 version and Motion has one as well. The difference between a cat and tunnel is that a cat works on more "hydrodynamics" (water) and less "aerodynamics" (air). ChrisCat, ShadowCat, Jaguar, are typical Cats and Skater, Cougar, Motion, Spectre, Talon are typical tunnels...the tunnel will run faster, but the cat is a better rough water design, thinks its a vee in rough water!

I've spent some time on a 30 with twin 300s. Nice boat, runs about 102. Just don't over trim. Boy that will get your attention fast.

OTTO has the 36 with the big power. These are quality boats.

we rigged a 30 with a pair of 2.5 offshores for a customer in 1997.very well built boat.did everything right on the water.97 mph in any conditions.jay was a great guy to work with.

My ultimate would be a 36' 1/4 canopies, with whippled 500efi's and b-max drives. 130 easily.

I HAVE A NEW 36 SPECTRE 1/4 CAMP, HP 500.RUN 108 WITH 32 PROP. WITH 36 PROP MUCH FASTER. INSTALLING WHIPPLE NOW. HOPE TO PICK UP AT LEASE 20 MPH. HAD THE SKATER SIDE BY SIDE WOULD NOT TRADE.SPECTRE IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK,.[]null
