Default Oil Thermostat, where to buy and which one?

I am replacing my oil cooler after spinning a rod bearing. I will need to be replacing the T-stat as well, lots of places for metal to hide in there. I was using the Permacool oil T-stat.

This unit bypasses 10 percent of the oil regardless of temp. I suspect that the bypass rate may be even higher due to them temp differentials.

What other oil T-stats are being used? Not looking for a high dollar part, just one to do the job. Will be mating it the Eddie Marine 3x22 combo cooler.
