Default What to do with the speedo hose

I'm in the process of painting the engine compartment and cleaning up all the hoses and wires and was wondering what to do with the speedo hose from the drive. I'm installing a GPS speedo and because of an add on nose cone the speedo doesn't work anyway. I have the drive off and I'm going to replace the bellows while im there. Question is, can plug the hole? Any suggestions?

You can remove the hose from the outside if the gimble housing, on the inside is a screw in barb fitting with the speedo hose attatched. This barb fitting can come out and a pipe plug can be installed. I believe it is 1/16 pipe. 1/8 is way to big. I have a few of these here if you need any. I can ship it out in an envelope.

Let me know.
