502 Mag Upgrade Options
Hello all I am new to the form, but from looking around you all have a great deal of knowledge and some killer boats.
Anyway I have a 1991 Mach 1 29ft, 502 Mag, it has a little over 850 hrs on it, but it runs great, and has been well taken care of. I am wanting to add some more HP and was wondering the most cost effective way to get there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

with 850 hrs, I would think its time to pull it and rebuild it. While its being rebuilt, bigger cam, head work, intake, carb, and a high perf exhaust. 502 is good for 500-550 reliable HP.
